PLASTRULON ANSI 150 CARBON STEEL / SG IRON PFA LINED BALL VALVE

A range of PFA-lined ball valves capable of handling a variety of aggressive chemicals, high temperatures, and abrasion. These versatile valves are suitable for applications in chemical process, petrochemical, and pharmaceutical industries, water treatment, semiconductor manufacturing, and more. The valves feature a full-bore, two-piece, split carbon steel body with extra thick, locked-in PFA body and ball lining, and PTFE seat and packing. The body is protected against external corrosion with an epoxy coating, fitted with stainless steel fasteners and gland cover.
The valve is supplied ready for manual operation with a lockable lever.

The valve has a blow-out proof, one-piece ball/stem design that guarantees accurate positioning of ball in open/close condition. Fitted with a unique packing system that is self-adjusting with permanent loading with stainless steel Belleville washers, springs, etc., the PTFE chevron packing providing stem seal integrity with low turning torque. Available in sizes from ½” to 3” in carbon steel, 4” and 6” in ductile iron (spheroidal graphite iron) to suit ANSI 150 flanges. The valves have a working pressure range of 0 to 16 bar, working temperature range of 0°C to 200°C, and vacuum resistance to full vacuum.

PFA is highly resistant to a wide range of corrosive chemicals, acids, and bases, making it ideal for use in industries where corrosive media is present. The PFA lining acts as a protective
barrier, preventing the underlying materials from corrosion. PFA-lined ball valves have a long service life due to their resistance to chemical attack and high temperatures. They
are less prone to wear and tear compared to valves made entirely from metal. PFA lined ball valves provide reliable sealing, preventing leaks even under high-pressure conditions. 

PFA is non-stick and easy to clean, reducing the need for maintenance and minimising downtime. The smooth interior surface minimises flow resistance, turbulence, and pressure drop across the valve; maintaining flow rates, and reducing energy consumption. The high-purity PFA material prevents contamination of the process fluid by the valve material itself, crucial in industries with strict purity standards.
