Stainless Steel Pneumatic Actuated Sanitary Ball Valve

This Pneumatic Actuated Sanitary Ball Valve is a combination of a streamline 316 Stainless Steel Pneumatic rotary actuator and cavity filled sanitary ball valve with the option of clamp or weld end connections.

Offered in spring closed or double acting versions and can be combined with Top Control heads.

The linear stroke movement of the actuator piston is deflected into a 90° rotary movement of the drive shaft which fits directly onto the valve. The single-acting actuators are returned to the initial position by spring force, while double-acting actuators are returned by compressed air.

The welded construction of the stainless steel housing ensures the actuator is 100% maintenance-free, whilst the valve is fully maintainable.

The valves are sized with three actuators according to torque requirements: P0 - P1 - P2. All three sizes have an extremely high torque in the closing area despite their compact design. The air consumption per stroke cycle is very low due to the low cylinder volume. This offers a remarkable energy saving potential.

In addition, the rotary actuator can be easily combined with the 8691 feedback position sensor. Other position feedback sensors including the 8692/3/4 series are available on request.
